Born in Spain, raised in the Azores, and now a product of the American South, Kelsey draws inspiration from the undeniable allure of Europe and the mystique of southern culture. She developed a love for prose at the age of ten, handwriting fan and medieval fiction throughout primary school before finding her own voice. At the age of thirteen, Kelsey began writing her current science fiction series. A self-professed "nerd," she seeks to represent fiction from a millennial perspective, infusing themes of philosophy, sociology, and physics in character-driven stories.
Kelsey currently resides in Canada with her wife, Stephanie and puppy, Craig.
